Installing Shareaholic on WordPress

There are two options for installing any plugin on WordPress. The easiest method is to search for the plugin via your Wordpress Admin panel and install from there, but we will provide instructions for both methods below.

If you've already installed the Shareaholic Plugin on your WordPress site, you do not need to add the site through Shareaholic.com. You can just link your site directly to your Shareaholic.com account by following these instructions here.

Install Shareaholic from your WordPress Admin panel

1. Make sure you're logged into WordPress then go to Plugins > Add New
2. Search for Shareaholic
3. Install the plugin called Shareaholic and activate it
4. Adjust settings to your liking
5. If you use a caching plugin please clear the cache
6. Enjoy!

Upload the Shareaholic plugin to WordPress

1. Download the Shareaholic WordPress plugin to your computer
2. Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin
3. Select the plugin file you just downloaded and upload
4. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu
5. Adjust settings to your liking
6. If you use a caching plugin please clear the cache
7. Enjoy!

What if I am hosted on Wordpress.com?

With the WordPress.com Business plan (and above) you can search for and install external plugins, including Shareaholic!
